It is easier to recommend good policy than to practise it.
Nonprofits often ask governments to improve systems, strengthen institutions and create better conditions for people. Those demands matter. But organisations also create systems for their own employees.
That is where the contradiction appears. An organisation can write thoughtful policy recommendations while offering staff unclear contracts, poor work hours or limited protection.
Good values should travel in both directions. If employee welfare matters when discussing public policy, it should matter inside the organisation too. Accountability cannot stop at the office door.
