The CSR Tap
Install a tap. Add a logo. Call it impact.
A school water tap can be useful. But a useful intervention depends on what happens after installation. Who maintains it? What breaks? Who pays? Does water actually remain available?
The meme points to a familiar CSR problem: treating the visible object as the impact. A tap is easy to photograph. Maintenance systems are harder to explain in an impact film.
The branding makes the contradiction sharper. When public spaces become advertising surfaces, the intervention can start looking less like a public good and more like a reminder of corporate generosity.
